By using Noteecard, you agree to the following terms. We keep them straightforward so you know exactly what to expect.
1. Account Usage
By creating an account, you agree to use Noteecard respectfully and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Noteecard is designed to preserve thoughtful and meaningful notes — content that includes hate speech, explicit language, discrimination, or unsolicited advertising is prohibited. We review content and reserve the right to remove anything that violates these standards.
2. Credits & Payments
Noteecard uses a transparent credit system. Credits are consumable digital units used to create and manage note cards. Each card type has a clear credit cost, displayed before you create. Credits are non-refundable once purchased and cannot be restored after use. All credit purchases are final — this policy helps prevent fraud and covers processing costs. All purchases are processed via Apple App Store.
3. Legacy Lifetime
Legacy Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It unlocks permanent access to core features and includes a credit balance. It does not require subscription renewal. Legacy holders receive all future core updates at no additional cost. Credit usage for card creation still applies under the standard credit model.
4. Content Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you create on Noteecard. Cards are stored on our servers for as long as we operate. While we provide optional encryption and PIN protection to help safeguard your content, no system is guaranteed to be completely secure. We reserve the right to moderate and remove content that violates community standards or applicable law.
5. Privacy & Data
We do not share personal data unless required by law. Your data is protected through encryption, access controls, and industry-standard security practices. For full details, read our Privacy Policy.
6. Limitation of Liability
Noteecard is provided as-is. We disclaim responsibility for any harm caused by user content or misuse of the platform. We cannot guarantee indefinite storage beyond our service operation period. Use Noteecard at your own discretion and ensure that any sensitive information is appropriately protected.
7. Termination, Suspension & Content Removal
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, applicable law, or harms the integrity, security, or reputation of Noteecard. This includes, but is not limited to: - Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content - Illegal activity or unlawful use of the service - Fraudulent behavior or abuse of payment systems - Spam, unsolicited advertising, or automated misuse - Attempts to compromise security or encryption mechanisms - Circumventing platform safeguards We may remove, edit, restrict access to, or permanently delete any card, content, or account data that violates these Terms, with or without prior notice. In cases of serious or repeated violations, we may permanently delete the associated account and all related data. We also reserve the right to disable access to specific features, revoke credits, or limit functionality if misuse is detected. Any remaining credits at the time of suspension or termination are forfeited and non-refundable. Users may delete their account and associated data at any time through the app settings. Upon voluntary deletion, data will be removed within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
8. Amendments
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of Noteecard after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Service Modifications & Platform Control
We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, discontinue, or remove any feature, functionality, card type, or part of the service at any time. This includes the right to: - Modify the credit system - Change pricing structures - Adjust feature availability - Remove or archive inactive content - Introduce new limitations or safeguards We may also update, revise, or reclassify card types, including public, private, encrypted, themed, or legacy features, as the platform evolves. Noteecard is an evolving platform. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any such modifications.
